is a two component polyurethane varnish (classification A acc. PN-C-81802:2002). It is characterized with high abrasion resistance, chemical contamination and easy application. The varnish is available in two versions: matt and semi-matt.
Purpose:

It is designated for varnishing wooden surfaces intensely used and exposed to loads (boards, parquets, mosaics, industrial floors, “cubes” inlaid parquet floors, parquet with floor heating).
Preparation of the surface:
The surface should be sanded with the use of drum sander with sand paper of 36 to 100 graining. The slots and scratches should be filled with a skim coat and then sanded with a drum sander with sandpaper of 100 graining and disk sander with a 100-120 net. The surface designated for varnishing must be dry, free from dust and other dirt.
Then apply the primer or directly the surface varnish, depending on the assumed varnishing system.
Mixing proportions:

| Hardener of Water Based Surface Varnish 2K |

Application conditions:

The temperature of the room, floor and varnish should be 17-25°C
Relative air humidity 50-70%
Recommended varnishing system:

A coat of Water Based Primer Varnish
2-3 coats of Water Based Surface Varnish 2K
B coats of Water Based Primer Varnish - Gel
2-3 coats of Water Based Surface Varnish 2K
C 1 coat of Dissolvent Primer Varnish
2-3 coats of Water Based Surface Varnish 2K
D 3-4 coats of Water Based Surface Varnish 2K
- recommended for heavy loaded surfaces and exotic wood (after testing).
Not recommended for parquet panels and floor heating.
Principles of operation:

Before the application of the varnish wait until the varnish and hardener reach the room temperature, then shake them well. Pour the content of the hardener package into the canister with varnish and shake it energetically in order to obtain a homogeneous mixture. Leave for ca. 10 minutes. Apply the varnish by means of a roller designated for water based floor varnishes. Apply evenly, avoid any local accumulation of the varnish. The varnish strips applied should overlap. Apply 2-3 coats of varnish.
After the application of the first coat wait at least 4-6 hours before applying another one. The time between the application of the subsequent layers should not exceed 24 hours (matt the floor after the expiration of the said period). Before the application of the last coat of varnish, matt the varnished surface by means of a disk sander with abrasive paper (net) of 120 graining or finer. After matting the base should be cleaned of dust very thoroughly. The varnish is totally hardened after 8-10 days and after such period of time only, it may be fully used: covered with carpets, maintained.
In case of painting sorts of wood causing problems, e.g. beech, maple, ash, exotic wood the application of varnish by means of a roller instead of a putty knife is recommended.
In case of renovation of old varnish coats, it is recommended to carry out the adherence test. A small surface should be sanded with sandpaper of 120-150 graining or 100-120 net, apply the varnish and leave for a few days for hardening. Check the varnish adherence by means of a coin (rub the coin’s edge hard against the varnish). If the adherence is good, matt the entire surface with a 100 net and apply one or two coats of varnish.
